Is what time I started this post. I am sorry to tell you folks, that our life has been blissfully boring the last few weeks. We work. We come home. I wear a flirty apron and cook dinner. Damon does the dishes. And we watch Lost.

(a kiss of luck for The Lady's Chicken Noodle Soup- see october-ish post on the best soup ever.)

(Damon has a major crush on Sawyer. He's even growing out a beard to be like him)

You see, we are trying to catch up on the whole show so that when Feb. 2 comes around we can get all into the DI and the time-warping-traveling-islanders. Sometimes we go to yoga at Gold's.

And that's about it.

Oh wait, we also ate at Brick Oven 2 saturdays in a row for friends' birthdays.

There. That's it.

Sorry, not much to blog about there. I guess I could give you some opinions on health care or the inversion of utah county or the fact that Texas and BYU are playing each other on September 10th of 2011... but you know, then i wouldn't have anything to blog about next time.

I did make this rosette wreath for valentines day. It was pretty easy and so cute, I'll probably make one for every holiday and some solid colors just for variety...

The happiest place on earth...

Damon and I did our volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity to get free tickets to any Disney park! We had a great time shingling a roof together for a house that Habitat has gutted and is remodeling for a single mom. I've worked with Habitat before and Damon just likes to get his hands dirty in stuff he's already good at, so we'll probably go back to the house to keep working on it when we can. It was a fun time working together and I can't wait to go to Disneyland with him!

We've got a small group of people who are doing their hours so we can all go together- yay! Warm weather, mouse-shaped food, and Disney princesses!

oh, memories...

our 3 wedding songs. the only 3 i cared about. which is a good thing, because the ipod was at jake's reachable level. so my wedding playlist had mishaps. nevertheless, these were all i heard and all i danced to.

our first dance
Benton Paul's "I Only See You"

father/daughter:
Adele's "To Make You Feel My Love"

our love dance...
Catherine's "What a Wonderful World"
if Catherine had been able to be at the wedding, this would have been our first dance, but alas, it was too long, at least the copy I have on my ipod... sad, but it was perfect for everyone to join in when they wanted.

if i was smart i'd know how to make a playlist of these 3 songs from my itunes or something so you dont have to go to the links- but rest assured, the videos and catherine's page with all her music are worth the travel!
