Dear 2009,

i'm glad you're here. we have some things to talk about... like how you're going to be my best year so far and how all sorts of things are going to happen.

i'm starting over. changing the way i do things and turning more into the person i'm supposed to be. leaving behind the ridiculousness, the topsy-turvy, all over the place, up and down, can't-make-up-her-mind-or-find-what-she-wants Tara. remind me to not forget and do something stupid...

Damon is loving first year of residency in Internal Medicine, golf, mexican food, mexicans, redheads, fresh snow, the cold side of the pillow, thunderstorms, and home made ice cream, and A&W on tap.

Tara is loving naptimes, road trips, not playing sports or games, shopping, thunderstorms, Dr. Pepper, QT (for their soda fountain) and watching her boys finally start to play together.

Ellis is loving Paw Patrol, Angry Birds, Spiderman, his new preschool backpack, making up songs all day long, swimming, a cross between tennis and baseball using walmart super plastic balls, and being the boss of everybody.

Hudson is loving not saying any words, throwing magnificent tantrums and then turning angel in mere seconds, growing out his curly locks, following his big brother around, eating any fruit in sight and nothing else, and taking 4 hour naps, sometimes sans diaper.

#3 is practically perfect in every way, either a boy or a girl but we won't find out til the big debut (and no, you won't change our minds)
